Our mission is to preserve and promote the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India "to foster collaboration among people of Indian origin and broader Canadian community" to advocate and ensure effective representation of members in social, political and cultural life for the benefit of our community at large.
The goal is to help foster a sense of togetherness and belonging through cultural exchange; encourage & promote local talent; help improve the welfare of our community members; and assist in the settlement of newly arrived immigrants. Thus, the core mission incorporates diversity, and states that India Canada Association of Waterloo Region (ICA) is non-religious, non-political, and non-ethnic.
